Mike Barlow Motorcycle Training is based in Dronfield, near to
Chesterfield, Derbyshire and Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
We provide motorcycle training for riders from Derbyshire, the
Peak District, South Yorkshire, and Nottinghamshire.
We have experienced instructors who will help to get you through
your riding test. We instruct on all courses from CBT through to
Direct Access and Accelerated Access. No matter at what level you
are entering motorcycling, you can be sure you will receive the
best instruction available.
AFTER COMPLETING CBT WITH MIKE BARLOW TRAINING, CBTPLUS - 3 HOURS TRAINING (NORMALLY £75) – IS FREE ON COMPLETION OF CBT. PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE APPLICATION FORM.
2. CBT TRAINING WITH INSURED BIKE ON A 600 CC BIKE - £150.00
CBTPlus is a 3-hour course that shows new riders how to survive the challenges they will face while out on the road.
The normal cost of this training is £75 - but you can enrol for just £15 thanks to a discount offered by Derby and Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership. CBT Plus is designed to be completed at around the same time as the CBT, but you don't need to have done the CBT with Mike Barlow Training Scheme to receive the £60 discount.

THE BIKE REQUIRED FOR THIS TRAINING MUST BE MORE THAN 46 BHP TO ENABLE THE RIDER TO RIDE ANY CAPACITY BIKE.
DIRECT ACCESS COURSE INCLUDING MODULE ONE TRAINING AND TEST - £700
Individually tailored course from CBT to DSA unrestricted licence, 15 hours, plus 3 additional hours CBTPLUS (on completion of CBT PLUS. PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE APPLICATION FORM.
ith 47bhp insured bike hire during
day/evenings including one test fee and CBT. If a person requires more than 15 hours training, each addtitional 2 hours will be charged at half the normal rate at a cost of £45. Can be arranged in 2, 4, 6 or 8
hour blocks. Unrestricted licence allows the rider to ride any machine. THIS IS A HUGE SAVING ON PAY-AS-YOU-GO.
NEW - Enhanced Rider Scheme - This is a new government approved scheme which is open to full motorcycle licence holders only. Insurance companies offer substantial discounts to riders who reach the required standard.
